Alicia has over 10 years of experience in Investment Banking, primarily covering the global media and entertainment sector.

She is currently serving as Director of Become Investible, and Managing Director & Junior Partner of EMP Media Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on the sports, media & entertainment sectors.

Prior to EMP she grew and oversaw the media and entertainment portfolio for Aspire Fund Management Company, a Caribbean-based investment firm. She also worked with EY Caribbean in the Transaction Advisory Services group and Bank of Montreal Capital Markets, in the Mergers & Acquisitions group.

Alicia holds an MBA from McGill University with a specialty in Finance and a BBA in Accounting from Howard University.

Alicia has varied interests including Real Estate investing, a passion that has led her to establish Garison Properties, a US-based real estate investment company. In addition to her entrepreneurial ambitions, she maintains balance through daily meditation, exercise, playing the piano and a continued focus on career and personal development.
